written exams
Congratulations! One of the most competitive part of the hiring process is now behind you. Now we must get ready for the written exam(s). Depending on the future job position, the number and types of exam(s) that you are required to write will vary.

Finding the appropriate information for the written exam

The first location to start your research is the department’s website. To avoid useless hours of searching, focus on the following pieces of information:

– The latest report on plans and priorities;

– The department’s performance report;

– The department’s vision and mission statement; the past three months, this will come in handy in the written and oral exam); and,

– The mandate and the main files (if you can find this) of your future group. If you can find this) of your future group.

Note: Keep all of the research that you do for your written exam. If you are called in for an oral interview it will definitely come in handy.
